it sucks that iPhone cannot be updated without itunes

itunes is piece of junk but unfortunately one cannot even put files over USB on iPHone without itunes so connecting iphone to mac/pc with itunes is necessary to ugrade. i NEVER connect iphone to pc/mac but I use only wifi to transfer ...
