hawaii sucks! we're stuck on this island for 2 more years. my husbands in the navy, we thought we were coming to paradise. THIS IS THE WORST PLACE! Locals hate white people not to mention the military. One friend of mine, who is also a mititary wife, her kids go to a school were the local parents shun her kids, not allowing there children to play with them because they are white. Theres trash every where, every thing cost a fortune, imagine everytime you go to a 7 11 to buy a drink having to pay 6 extra cents because the states so broke they nickel and dime you every change they get. Our rent here is $1350 1 bedroom 1 bathroom in the last place we lived it was $900 for a 3 bedroom 2 bath. 5 dollars for a gallon of milk. My husband got mugged in paradise, theres this thing in the lakes and ponds called leptospirosis that can give you menigentis, you have to pay 15 dollars a year to get a bicycle registered or the cops can legally take it away. Ive been discrimanated against because Im not local, I applied for a job and was told that was the reason I wasnt getting the posistion. Theres transvestite prostitutes everywhere. They talk pidgin which is the stupidest thing Ive ever heard which is basically a lazy ass way off talking, no one can drive correctly, not turn signals they cut you off they dont let you turn into traffic if your sittng at a stop sign, They all complain about the mainland, if we took away everything the mainland gave to them they'd have nothing, No military, no American cars, no american stores, nothing, every one would just have there peice of junk Hondas and Toyotas that are painted primer. So if you ever think of coming here, just dont, I live on Oahu and the only part of it I like are the insides of military bases because Im not hated because Im not from the mainland. Hawaii is misconstrued in the media. Ever watched 50 first dates remember how beautiful it was? The movie lied. Theres nothing that great about Hawaii except its warm all year and even that gets old. Go some where with a little class!
